You see I have a boy, a boy who is interested in “things”, he likes to do “things”, see “things”, talk about “things”, play with “things” and break “things”. This morning my parents kindly offered to take Noah to the seaside for some walking, sand castle building and a spot of brunch. So I was able to quickly tidy up all the “things” Noah had been playing with, drink coffee with a friend and then prepare supper.
After lunch Noah decided he wanted to read some of his books, so there we were sat on the floor in the kitchen surrounded by “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt”, “The Gruffalo”, various number and letter books, all of which I will get around to tagging and linking once I really know what I am doing. Now I didn’t mind his selection today, but sometimes they are so boring! Does anyone else find this? I find myself nodding off to sleep when I am reading him his bed time story. Any body with any book recommendations greatly received.
So here we are, he is currently playing with his imaginary brothers, oh have I mentioned that bit yet? There are 14 of them and right now they are all playing cars and boats in the playroom. I love watching him play, how they actually use their imagination fascinates me.
Noah is very keen to remind me that it is Kumon later, I was rather hoping he had forgotten as I do not have the car today and its rather cold outside. But he hasn’t so, we will be wrapping up warm and heading out shortly.
