Educating Noah, wow this is a big one and I really don’t know where to begin. Like most parents I want to make good decision for Noah. I think however, that does mean trying and testing various different approaches as I don’t believe one size fits all. So this part of the blog is going to be exactly that.
Neal teaches, he works at the local college helping education 16-19 year old NEET students, (not in employment, education or training). I used to work for a charity as a Substance Misuse Specialist, before having my third or fourth mid life crisis and re-entering education. Both of us are aware that decisions made while children are young can often effect them later in life. So here we are looking at ways to encourage Noah to develop his own personality, offering him a variety of activities to stimulate his brain, to show him as much of the world as we can. To have fun with him, that has been the most important thing so far. I laugh, when he laughs, and for any of you who have heard Noah’s chuckle its enough to make any one smile.
He is currently in Reception at a wonderful little village school near where we live, he is thriving there, and has made some fantastic new friends. When the school day is over, I try to allow Noah time to play whilst I prepare supper, where the whole family sits down to eat and discuss how are day has been.
